The Grade II listed Tithe Barn dates back to Tudor times and retains many original period features and leads out to the Barn Garden with its centrepiece pergoda. The Barn and Garden together provide an entirely private and inclusive venue both indoors and out - the perfect location for your wedding.

Alternatively, Canons Brook has an elegant Clubhouse, with impressive high ceilings, huge picture window and a large centrally located bar - it is the perfect venue for larger parties. There is a beautiful outside terrace area, with outstanding views of the golf course for guests to enjoy.

Canons Brook Golf Club has a large car park, is easy to find and close to the railway station with direct rail links to London & Cambridge, the M11 motorway and Stansted Airport. There are several hotels close by for those guests requiring accommodation.

The Barn has a capacity of 120 with no more than 80 when a full meal is served. The Clubhouse numbers are 250 and 120 respectively.

Visitors are reminded that Canons Brook is a busy Golf Course and that Golf Courses are potentially dangerous places.  For these reasons, people attending events in the Barn are required to keep within the confines of the Barn itself and the attached garden area. 

Particular care is to be taken to ensure that children are accompanied by adults at all times and that they do not stray onto the Putting Green or onto the Golf Course.
