Course Open

Whatever standard of golf you play, Canons Brook Golf Course is sure to provide you with a rewarding challenge to your game.

Situated in 112 Acres of mature, rolling countryside the 18 Hole, 6769 Yard, Par 73 Championship length course makes excellent use of the landscape and its numerous natural and man-made hazards.

The Course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton, whose philosophy was to create a championship length course, with very little rough, but incorporating many bunkers and large undulating greens, a task he accomplished in style. The Course opened fully in 1966.

Society/Corporate days are available on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays throughout the year (excluding Bank Holidays). You may decide on a society package or, if you prefer, tailor make your day to your own requirements. The choice is yours!

Buggy & Trolley Hire is available should any of your members require one on the day. These will need to be booked direct with our Pro Shop on 01279 418357.

Canons Brook welcomes visitors who are competent golfers. We expect that all your players can play to a reasonable standard and will comply with the etiquette of golf. The Club, for its part, will make every endeavour to present the course in a condition that is consistent with its high reputation. There may be, however, circumstances, such as adverse weather or greenkeeping priorities, that force some variation on the course, but such occasions will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Slow Play will detract from the day's enjoyment for all players. Rounds of over four hours are unacceptable. It is the Organiser's responsibility to choose formats that encourage continuous play. Stableford competitions are much more enjoyable than stroke play - fourball medals must be played. For Societies playing 36 holes, it is recommended that at least one round is foursomes or greensomes. Our course is monitored. Should anyone be observed whose play or conduct is below acceptable level, they will be required to leave the course and their green fee will be refunded.

Amateur Status - In arranging golf days, organisers should be aware that it is prejudicial to the amateur status of the golfer to be awarded prizes in excess of £200 retail value.

Advertising/Signs - Displays and posters may not be erected without the prior authorisation of the Club.

Damage - The Client, in accepting these Terms and Conditions assumes responsibility for any and all damage caused by him or any member of his party, in any part of the Clubhouse or grounds.

Cancellation by Canons Brook Golf Club - The Club reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservations but will only do so in extreme circumstances.

Deposits - The Club requires a non-refundable deposit of £200. The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.

Tee Times are normally 8.00am and 1.30pm (October to March Included) and 8.15am and 1.45pm (April to September included) from the 1st Tee only. Only 7, 14 or 18 holes allowed.

Payment Must be either cash, credit card or cheque (made payable to Canons Brook Golf Club). Members of Canons Brook, who play with a society, will not be charged to play, but the Society will still be invoiced for their food and administration fee.

Minimum Numbers We impose a minimum number of 10. Therefore, if your number drops below this figure, you will still be charged for 10, less your deposit paid. Once you have confirmed your numbers 48 hours before the date of the event, you will be charged for the confirmed number, unless your numbers increase on the day. If you decide to cancel your booking due to inclement weather, or there being certain course conditions which you are not happy with, you will still be charged the minimum charge less your deposit paid.
